The cooling capacity of a freezer is an important indicator of the performance of commercial freezers. How to judge the quality of commercial freezer cooling capacity? It can be judged by using professional temperature instruments to view the temperature changes of commercial freezers, in addition to testing with instruments, the cooling capacity of freezers is generally determined by the cooling speed of commercial freezers. Commercial freezers have fast cooling speed and strong cooling capacity. The following uses a commercial freezer for supermarkets for testing, and monitors the temperature changes of the cold room and freezer in real time through the intelligent temperature recorder to understand the refrigeration effect of the commercial freezer. In order to avoid the interference of the temperature of the ingredients on the test results, the refrigeration test is carried out without anything inside the commercial freezer.

The intelligent temperature logger measures from –55°C to 125°C, has an accuracy of +/- 0.3°C, and a resolution of 0.01°C, using a temperature probe sensor to record temperature changes and derive temperature change curves. In terms of commercial freezer settings, we have adjusted the cold room to a minimum of 2°C, the freezer room to -30°C, and turned on the "smart quick cooling" and "smart quick freezing" functions.

Test methods for the cooling capacity of commercial freezers:

(1) Disconnect the power supply of the commercial freezer and open all doors and drawers of the commercial freezer for about half an hour;

(2) Place the two temperature probes of the smart temperature logger in the center of the cold room and freezer respectively

(3) Set the temperature logger to record temperature changes every minute;

(4) The temperature of the refrigerator reaches 5 °C, and the freezer reaches -15 °C The test ends;

(5) Calculate the time it takes for the cold room to drop from 20°C to 5°C and the freezer from 20°C to -15°C.

Commercial freezer refrigeration test results: the freezer room from 20°C to 5°C took a total of 58 minutes, and the cooling efficiency of the refrigerator was about 0.26 degrees per minute; The freezer from 21°C to -15°C took a total of 2 hours and 38 minutes, and the freezer cooling efficiency was about 0.23 degrees per minute. The results show that the commercial freezer has a strong cooling capacity.
